The Basque Minister of Education launches theP

The Basque Minister of Education launches the first edition of the Summer Courses Muskiz FP.

The opening ceremony took place at the Salon de Actos of Somorrostro Training Centre, and also participated in the same Riancho Gonzalo, Mayor of Muskiz; Mario Iceta, apostolic administrator of Bilbao, Juan Manuel Seco, director of the courses, and responsible for the four partner organizations: Petronor, Iberdrola, La Caixa and the Basque Energy Board (EVE).

During the ceremony, which involved more than 200, sto credits, guests, highlighted the relevance of vocational training as a source of technological innovation and gateway to employment, but even at the present time, when the output of the economic crisis will require changes paradigm in which human capital plays a central role. It also recalled that at present about 30,000 students attend vocational training in the Basque Country.

During the 2009-2010 academic year joined, sto credits, the academic route nearly 14,500 new students. Vocational training has narrowed differences with the university: 51 percent of students who continue their studies after high school do in college, while 47 percent do vocational training centers. Today, nearly 1,000 students Basque vocational training programs involved in European level.

These summer courses are the first performance of a broad macroeconomic perspective, aika gold, project, called FP Muskiz, an initiative led by the City muskiztarra, with the support of political groups and local citizens groups, as well as by the Training Centre Somorrostro, with the support of institutions, academic institutions and companies.

Its purpose is to foster a "Culture of Vocational Training and Employment" in the Basque Country, as well as about various meeting places around the Vocational Training and Employment, with Muzkiz as a rrence.

These spaces will be integrated in turn by various initiatives aimed at different audience, and with a seasonal periodicity, with which it aims to expand vocational training to social groups, business and institutional.

Summer Courses, aimed at both students of FP, as managers, professionals and companies in general, were reflected in its first edition four thematic sessions: "Intelligent networks and distributed power generation" (June 22), "Sources Automotive Power "(July 6)," Copenhagen Summit and industrial development "(July 13) and" Challenges of multicultural integration in the labor market "(July 16).

This activity also includes two training courses: the first devoted to the 3D design tool, Catia V5, five days (from 28 June to 2 July d), and the second to the installation of renewable energies the building, which will be held for four days (from 5 to 8 July).
