Off TRANSCAT alert for an accident in the AP-7 Agullana.

Barcelona, 26 ago .- The Directorate General of Civil Protection of the Generalitat (DGPC) has been turned off at midnight the alert phase of the Special Plan of emergency in the transport of dangerous goods (TRANSCAT) by the accident in the AP-7 between two trucks carrying the same company cyclohexane.

Sources of Civil Protection reported that the accident happened yesterday, yoville coins, about 15:35 am in the 8.5 km of the AP-7 in the municipality of Agullana (Girona), and as a result thereof the lost the entire truck load carrying cyclohexane, and the other half of it.

The accident spilled about 50,000 liters of cyclohexane, which was confined and transfer to another tank maintained by the same carrier.

The same sources have pointed out, fallen earth chips, that the driver of one truck wrecks had to be taken to hospital in Figueres, suffering a broken leg.
